MUSLIM YOUTH FOCUS GROUP – 4th MARCH 2015
2 students from Yr 11 represented the school at Scotland Yard on Wednesday, 4th March 2015. This was part of their involvement with planning for the Muslim Youth Festival to be held on Saturday, 28th March 2015.
The girls had an opportunity to listen to the opening address by Commander Chishty followed by an update on the Muslim Youth Festival. They were given an opportunity to discuss current affairs and were able to raise matters that concerned them.
We are very pleased to offer such opportunities to our girls who are in turn able to feedback their experience to students at the school. We look forward to more student participation at the Muslim Youth Event were students will have an opportunity to Promote young British Muslim success and culture, develop long term Muslim youth, police and government partnership , countering negative stereotypes and voicing their views, opinions and concerns.
