MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING 2nd DECEMBER 2014
We would like to express our thanks to parents who joined us for our Macmillan coffee morning which was held on Tuesday, 2nd December 2014. It was a wonderful morning for staff and parents to meet over a cup of coffee with the added opportunity to raise funds for a much needed cause.
The morning turned out to be a wonderful opportunity for us to share with parents information about the training staff had on PREVENT and the schools policy on PREVENT and protecting pupils from violent extremism. Information on E Safety and how we need to keep our children safe when using the internet also turned out to be an interesting discussion. Parents of Yr 10 & Yr 11 students had an opportunity to find out more about how they can support their daughters learning. Yr 10 parents were given advice on work experience which will take place next term.
Overall it was an interesting and informative morning and we are grateful for the continued support of parents. We sincerely look forward to more such programmes.
