GCSE RESULTS 2024
Summer 2024 pass rate is 94% for students achieving at least five 5+ grades including Maths and English.
The attainment 8 score is lower than last year but still impressive at 64.86% as the National average is around 45%.
AAGS’ provisional 2024 Progress 8 score is +0.83; this progress score is described by the DfE as ‘well above average’

Summer 2023 pass rate is 98% for students achieving at least five 5+ grades including Maths and English.
The attainment 8 score is impressive at 68.15%.

Summer 2022 pass rate is 98% for students achieving at least five 5+ grades including Maths and English- the attainment 8 score is our best ever at 69.71%.
- 95% of all grades were 4+ grades
- 62% of all grades were the highest prestigious 7-9 grades which is up from last year (51%)
- 95% of our students passed with 8 or more GCSEs
- 78% achieved a minimum of 4 7-9 grades which is up on last year (65%)
- At least 18/41 top students achieved at least 8 7-9 grades, (15/46 last year)

Masha’Allah another set of impressive results for the GCSEs at Azhar Academy Girls School. Initial calculations indicate a best ever Progress 8 score for the school masha’Allah, this is the measure which takes into consideration start points for students. AAGSs provisional Progress 8 score is +1.0, this progress score is described by the DfE as ‘well above average’ so we congratulate all students, staff and parents on this tremendous achievement.
Summer 2021 pass rate is 100% for students achieving at least five 4+ grades including Maths and English. 99% of all grades were 4+ grades, 51% of all grades were the highest prestigious 7-9 grades. Most of our students passed with 8 or more GCSEs, over half achieved a minimum of 4 7-9 grades, at least 15 top students achieved at least 8 7-9 grades.

MashaAllaah another set of impressive results for the new reformed GCSEs at Azhar Academy Girls School, despite a larger than usual cohort. Initial calculations indicate a positive increase in the Progress 8 score for the school MashaAllaah; this is the measure which takes into consideration start points for students. AAGS’ provisional Progress 8 score is +0.93; this progress score is described by the DfE as ‘well above average’ so we congratulate all students, staff and parents on this tremendous achievement.
Summer 2019 pass rate is 92% for students achieving at least five A*-C/4+ grades including Maths and English. 92% of all grades were A*-C/4+ grades, 36% of all grades were the highest prestigious A-A*/7-9 grades. Most of our students passed with 8 or more GCSEs, nearly half achieved a minimum of 4 A-A*/7-9 grades, at least two top students achieved 11 A-A*/7-9 grades.
